I like small cars. Since I don't know/care about auto details and mechanics and horsepower, I just go on aesthetics. If I had tons of money I would buy one of each of my dream cars. I'd probably need an 8 or 10-car garage though.
Two years ago I bought one of my "dream" cars, the Toyota Yaris, and have been SO happy with it. I believe it is the smallest car that Toyota made at the time (2007) and it gets awesome gas mileage. It's really popular in Europe, I guess. In fact, most of the cars I go for have been popular in Europe. I guess they like them small over there. When I first saw the commercials for the Yaris around 2005, I knew I had to have one.
I think eventually I'll own these cars too, but only one at a time I suppose:
Mini Cooper
Everytime I pass our local Mini Cooper dealership here in Omaha, I drool a bit. I've seen quite a few of them around town too. They are so unique and adorable.
I just wanna pinch their widdle cheeks. If cars had cheeks.
I love the multitude of customizations too. If you check out the main site, there are lots of fun designs and paint jobs to choose from when customizing your Mini-Cooper. Don't really care to have a British flag on my car, but the other designs are cool.
Side note, I have a friend with the last name of Cooper and he calls these cars "mini-me's"
Totoya iQ
Omg, want. How cute could it be???
This car isn't in the U.S. yet as far as I can tell. But it's just a matter of time with all the earth-lovers we're gradually acquiring over here.
I suppose this is Toyota's answer to the Smart Car? Way cuter body and and cuter name too.
Nissan Versa (grey) and Ford Fiesta (blue)
These two are grouped together because they share one common theme, which happens to be the reason I love them: The Hatchback. My first car was a hatchback and ever since I have missed having all the roomy hatchy loveableness!
Not sure where the Ford Fiesta is though... I have only seen them online, so I'm not sure if they're for sale or just a model. But I know the Versa is out there and ready to buy.
This is the kind of "family car" I would prefer over a mini-van or an SUV. It's slightly less Soccer Mom and thankfully not even close to a station wagon look.
The Ford Fiesta will be my next car if I have any say in it. (Which I kinda do.)
Ford Mustang
The only non-chicky, manly muscle car you'll find on this list.
I've always had a thing for Mustangs, especially the old models from the 60's, 70's and 80's (like this black Mustang). There was a point in the 90's where it they released a boring body style, but the past few years it's been revamped and I just love the new body, as you can see from the silver Mustang.
Scion
I'm not usually crazy about boxxy autos, but the Scion is just too cute. Whenever I see one on the road, it always catches my attention. Plus, they are super customizable, which I love love love.
Smart Car
I've just recently seen 2 of these vehicles driving around town. I kept trying to catch the name of the car driving past, without success.
Finally my boyfriend says, "well duh, that's the smart car," like I give a crap about cars and follow their every move. Anyway, these are SUPER cute and totally remind me of Steve Urkel's front-opening nerdmobile from Family Matters. OMG! They look like half a car!
I'm wondering what's so Smart about them though...
They don't run on corn or anything, and they're not the most extremely affordable thing out there (close, though), so what's so Smart about it? If you're gonna call a car smart, please make it do something original and magical and intelligent.

Found this jewelry via StumbleUpon. If you don't already know, StumbleUpon is kinda like my new best friend. And by new best friend I mean crack.
Anyway, this is the most beautiful jewelry I've seen in a long time. It's pretty pricey but holy crabcakes it's purty!
These pieces are all by Aileen Lampman. There's lots more at her site too: http://aijewelry.bigcartel.com/
